Ballston Spa B.R.I.D.G.E.S. Program

Created in February 2006, the B.R.I.D.G.E.S. Program currently offers full and half day placements. It is an environment in which students wtih disablilities can acquire the foundation skills necessary to live and work as independently as possible. Our classroom space is located right in our home school district and building. However, we also felt it would be necessary to foster relationships with local business owners in order to provide opportunities for the students to gain practical work experience. It is this sum total that makes the B.R.I.D.G.E.S. program so unique. We provide a comprehensive team approach to each student and include all related services such as: Speech, Occupational and Physical therapists and School Psychologist in addition to a core team of educators who commit fully to the philosophy that “Educating everyone takes EVERYONE.”
